Agilysys To Demo Best-of-Breed and Ecosystem Property Management, Point-of-Sale and F&B Inventory Procurement Solutions at Global Gaming Expo 2023

-- SaaS native and on-premise capable software demonstrations in G2E Booth #3800 focus on the importance of property preferences and choice when selecting technology --

-- G2E Education Session will discuss how Choctaw Casinos & Resorts uses technology to empower staff to deliver superior patron experiences --

-- G2E Lab Session will feature using modern PMS capabilities to improve operations --

Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of hospitality software solutions and services that deliver High Return Hospitality, will demonstrate a variety of PMS, POS and F&B Inventory Procurement solutions at Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2023 to emphasize the importance of matching technology selections to property preferences. Agilysys demonstrations will take place October 10 – 12 in Booth #3800 at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.

In addition, Agilysys solutions will be highlighted in G2E Education and Lab Sessions on Wednesday, October 11. Michael Grisar, Senior Director, Resort Operations, Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, and Ryan Carrier, Agilysys Area Vice President for Casinos and Resorts, will discuss Choctaw Casinos and Resorts technology strategy in “Elevating Service to Hospitality: Choctaw’s Rise from ‘Well-Run’ to ‘Well-Loved,’ from 11:40 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Room Titian 2205. Mukundhan Srinivasan, vice president of engineering for Agilysys, will host a PMS-focused Lab session “Elevating Service with Staff Empowerment Through High Performance Technology” in The Lab, Booth #5825 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.

Agilysys Senior Vice President Don DeMarinis noted that the Agilysys Education Session and Lab Session as well as booth demonstrations will discuss aligning technology decisions – including deployment models, architecture and adoption pace – to each property’s preferences and goals.

“Hospitality has never been a ‘one size fits all’ industry,” DeMarinis said. “Increasingly diverse patron expectations and an expanding range of staffing challenges make having smart and flexible choices in technology solutions -- whether in the cloud or on premise, best-of-breed or end-to-end ecosystem -- even more vital to a property’s success. Controlling the style and pace of technology adoption is central to ensuring smooth operations,” he said.

Preference-Based PMS, POS and F&B Inventory Procurement Choices: Cloud-Native and On-Premise, Best-of-Breed and End-to-End Ecosystem Coverage

Agilysys will demonstrate state-of-the-art cloud-native and on-premise PMS, POS and F&B Inventory Procurement solutions that enable properties to choose the operating style best for them. Properties that decide to operate on-premise today and move to the cloud later can migrate the same solution to the cloud without undergoing a complete re-implementation, dramatically simplifying the move. Likewise, properties that choose best-of-breed deployments today can migrate the same solutions to an end-to-end Agilysys ecosystem without heavy IT overhead.

Agilysys’ robust API-based infrastructure and broad range of existing integrations support both best-of-breed and end-to-end ecosystem deployments, and the Agilysys API Developer Portal facilitates new integrations as needed.

“Our approach is unique in hospitality because we do not lock properties into best-of-breed versus ecosystem or cloud versus on-premise choices up front,” DeMarinis noted. “Instead, we work with customers to understand the most suitable deployment choices for their current needs, and map out how that can evolve over time based on their preferences,” DeMarinis added.
