J.B. Hunt Participates in Wreaths Across America for 10th Consecutive Year

72 company drivers help transport company-record 355,000 wreaths to national cemeteries

J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. (NASDAQ: JBHT), one of the largest supply chain solutions providers in North America, continued its participation in Wreaths Across America for the tenth consecutive year this week, helping ensure the delivery of more than 355,000 wreaths for the annual event remembering fallen veterans during the holiday season.

This year, 72 J.B. Hunt drivers will help transport 52 loads of wreaths to their final destination at veteran cemeteries throughout the country. On December 16, J.B. Hunt volunteers will join thousands across the country to help lay wreaths on the headstones of fallen veterans for Wreaths Across America Day. The company will hold a rally December 15 at corporate headquarters for employees to celebrate its tenth year of support and reflect on the organization’s mission to remember, honor and teach.

This year’s total is the largest amount of wreaths J.B. Hunt has delivered for Wreaths Across America since it began working with the organization in 2014. It includes a record number of intermodal loads thanks to continued collaboration with rail providers BNSF Railway and Norfolk Southern. J.B. Hunt custom-wrapped 12 new company tractors and four trailers to commemorate this year’s participation.

Altogether, J.B. Hunt will help deliver wreaths to multiple cemeteries nationwide, including Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dayton National Cemetery, Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Georgia National Cemetery, Lexington National Cemetery, Marietta National Cemetery, National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Riverside National Cemetery, Salisbury National Cemetery, San Joquin Valley National Cemetery, and Tahoma National Cemetery, among others.

Being a part of the Wreaths Across America convoy is considered an honor by J.B. Hunt drivers. More than 425 company drivers have participated in the program since 2014, helping ensure the delivery of nearly one million wreaths. All J.B. Hunt drivers for Wreaths Across America are veterans or have a direct association with a veteran.
