Hayden AI Honored as GovTech 100 Company for Fourth Consecutive Year

The company’s vision AI platform improves safety and reliability for transit riders across the country

Hayden AI, a leader in artificial intelligence and geospatial analytics, has won the GovTech 100 award for 2024. This marks the fourth year in a row that Hayden AI has been selected as one of the most innovative companies in the government technology sector.

“Our consecutive GovTech 100 awards highlight Hayden AI’s success in delivering solutions for government agencies,” said Chris Carson, CEO and founder of Hayden AI. “Our vision AI products are currently making a positive difference for transit agencies and their riders in cities across the country. We’re excited to make an even greater impact on safety, on-time transit performance, and sustainability in 2024.”

The GovTech 100 is an annual list of 100 companies “focused on, making a difference in, and selling to state and local government agencies across the United States,” according to Government Technology, which compiles and publishes the list.

Hayden AI’s patented vision AI platform has quickly made the young company the US market leader in mobile automated bus lane and bus stop enforcement. In addition to working with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in New York and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) in Washington, DC, the company recently began work with LA Metro in Los Angeles and AC Transit in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.

In New York City, vehicle collisions have decreased by as much as 34% on streets with transit routes utilizing Hayden AI’s technology. To further improve road safety, Hayden AI is expanding its technology to use cases such as automated bike lane enforcement and automated double parking enforcement.

About Hayden AI: At Hayden AI, we’re pioneering real world problem solving powered by AI and machine learning. From bus lane and bus stop enforcement to digital twin modeling and more, our clients use our mobile perception system to speed up transit, make streets safer, and create a more sustainable future.
