The 2023 awardees of the National EV Charging Recognition Program consist of leading site hosts, utility companies, government departments, and contractors. Criteria for each sector was published in December, and all awardees submitted for the program by providing materials such as publicly available educational resources, safety data, public commitments to fast charger installation, and concrete results. All EV Charging Heroes will receive a digital certificate to memorialize their critical efforts and accomplishments toward widespread EV adoption. They will also be highlighted on the Connect the Watts Recognition Program page and featured in an upcoming blog post from EVgo.
