BlueLinx Announces Executive Leadership Changes

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BXC), a leading U.S. wholesale distributor of building products, announced senior leadership changes aimed at strengthening commercial alignment throughout the organization to advance the company’s sales growth strategy.

Mike Wilson has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. In this new role, he will oversee the commercial leadership team comprised of the five Regional Vice Presidents and the Vice President of National Accounts, all reporting directly to him. Bringing over 30 years of building products experience to the role, Wilson’s transition into this commercial leadership role from his previous role as Chief Product Management Officer underscores the importance of our product mix and vendor relationships to our core sales growth strategy.

Leo Oei has been named Vice President, Product Management, succeeding Mike Wilson in his former role, where he will lead the Product Management team and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Oei had previously served as the General Manager of both the Denville, NJ, and Long Island, NY branches for BlueLinx, and brings over 20 years of procurement and supply chain expertise to his new role.

David Sherwood, General Manager of the Erwin, TN branch, has been promoted to the position of Regional Vice President - North Region, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. Sherwood's extensive background and more than 30 years of building products experience, including time as the General Manager – Minneapolis branch, Regional Director of Operations – North Region, and integration leader for the Vandermeer acquisition, uniquely position him to lead the North region.
