Comstock Announces Kickoff to Summerbration 2024 at Reston Station

Celebrate Summer with Free Concerts, Movies, Fitness, and Family Fun

Summerbration is an annual celebration of everything summer hosted at Comstock’s Reston Station that showcases an array of free concerts, movies, family-friendly activities, and wellness events.

Reston Station will come alive every Friday evening with the Fab Fridays Live Music series brought to you by Reston Community Center (RCC), featuring an extensive lineup of tribute and cover bands. Kicking off the music series on Memorial Day weekend will be a Tribute to Bruce Springsteen featuring Bruce In The U.S.A. The full summer lineup includes shows honoring all-time greats like Tom Petty, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Journey, and also features bands covering hits from back in the Motown era all the way up through the 80s and the 2000s.

Back by popular demand from last year will be a tribute to the music of Taylor Swift featuring the band Love Story, scheduled for July 5th. The community can expect songs from every Taylor Swift album and once again immerse themselves in the spirit of the Eras Tour with interactive friendship bracelet-making stations, selfie stations, and other exciting activities that will delight any “Swiftie.”

Highlights will include inflatable soccer and batting cages, a martial arts demonstration, a pet adoption event, a performance by the Independence High School Cheerleaders, and more. Reston Station’s very own Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse will provide complimentary popcorn to all attendees each week.
