Ingram Micro is the First U.S. Distributor to Achieve Fortinet’s Engaged Preferred Services Partner (EPSP) Designation

The exclusive and advanced Fortinet security certification further differentiates Ingram Micro’s value by introducing specialized training, enablement, and professional services capabilities

Ingram Micro is the first technology distributor in the United States to be named an Engaged Preferred Services Partner (EPSP) within Fortinet’s Engage Partner Program.

The exclusive certification was announced this week at Ingram Micro’s annual SMB Alliance Unplugged event in Buffalo, NY, and signals to channel partners Ingram Micro’s continued commitment to augmenting and scaling their cybersecurity services expertise and support services with greater ease and efficiency. It also confirms Ingram Micro’s ability to deliver specialized and advanced Fortinet security support and services with and for channel partners.

“With this new designation Ingram Micro is enabling us to do more and be more for our customers without introducing potentially competitive brands,” said Sam Barhoumeh, Founder/CEO, Ready Networks and Ingram Micro SMB Alliance Council Member and past president. “That’s a huge win and a value we certainly will use to our advantage and our customers.”

“Managed cybersecurity is a double-digit growth opportunity for channel partners and an area of specialization where Ingram Micro is adding more business value with skilled technicians, advanced certifications, professional services, and more available at their fingertips through our digital twin Ingram Micro Xvantage,” said Paul Hager, vice president of Professional Services at Ingram Micro.

As the first U.S. distributor and one of only nine Fortinet EPSP partners in the U.S., Ingram Micro can collaborate with Fortinet Professional Support experts to help channel partners better design, establish, and implement Fortinet best practices, expand their expertise, and develop a more robust services portfolio. Ingram Micro was also recently named Fortinet’s U.S. Distributor of the Year as part of its 2023 Partner of the Year Awards.

"Fortinet is committed to providing the tools and support our partners need to maintain a competitive edge. We’re continuing to evolve our Engage Partner Program to help partners differentiate, grow, and expand their organizations," said Ken McCray, Vice President of Channel Sales, US, Fortinet. " Ingram Micro is a highly trusted distribution partner for Fortinet and we are pleased to name them among this distinguished list of EPSP partners."

A Program Focused on Enabling Opportunities for Partners

Fortinet is committed to helping partners meet new and evolving customer challenges created by work-from-anywhere models, hybrid IT environments, and the evolving threat landscape through Fortinet’s Engage Partner Program and enablement tools for partners. The program is focused on enabling unique growth opportunities with Fortinet’s expansive portfolio built around the Fortinet Security Fabric, designed to secure customers’ entire infrastructure from the data center to the cloud.

In addition, Fortinet is committed to helping partners grow productive, predictable, and rewarding relationships to differentiate from competitors. The Fortinet Engage Partner program helps partners acquire the industry knowledge they need to increase business opportunities, deliver digital acceleration for customers with customizable programs, and accelerate partner growth.
