From Savings to Capital Access: Tu Futuro Finanzas’ New Season Targets Household Relief and Main Street Efficiency

Program delivers actionable tools, templates, and one-on-one advising to help households save and small businesses scale—supporting a more resilient U.S. economy

With household budgets under pressure and small firms operating on thin margins, the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce (HISCEC) is launching Season Five of Tu Futuro Finanzas, a national initiative designed to do two things well: help families lower monthly costs and help small business owners operate lean and become lender-ready. Resources are available nationwide, with materials offered in English and Spanish.

Tu Futuro Finanzas concentrates on practical execution. Families receive bill-audit checklists, saving tips, and plug-and-play budgeting and debt tools that can be put to work immediately. For business owners, the program pairs one-on-one advising with templates and operating guides that turn ad-hoc routines into simple standard operating procedures, establish cash-flow guardrails, and strengthen pricing and margin discipline. A dedicated access-to-capital track helps owners organize financials, improve credit profiles, and align documentation with lender expectations before they apply—accelerating timelines and reducing avoidable denials.

The approach is intentionally cross-cutting: Tu Futuro Finanzas bridges household finance and small-business execution so gains at home reinforce stability at work—and vice versa. The objective is broader than near-term relief. By equipping families and Main Street operators with clear playbooks and advising, the program aims to improve local productivity, expand responsible access to credit, and build habits that compound into long-term, generational wealth. With support from the Wells Fargo Foundation, Tu Futuro Finanzas has expanded from a regional effort to a national program reaching communities across the country.

As part of the partnership with NBCUniversal Local’s Telemundo Station Group established last year, Tu Futuro Finanzas resources will be amplified across Telemundo Network’s award-winning community impact initiative, El Poder en Ti, through its digital and social media platforms. Dedicated to uplifting and powering Latinos forward, El Poder en Ti promotes financial literacy alongside health, education, and civic participation, providing culturally relevant resources that support Hispanic families.
