Del Webb Hosts Grand Opening of Fourth Active Adult Community in Metro Nashville

Nation’s leading builder of 55+ communities welcomed 500 attendees at its Lebanon community’s inaugural event

Del Webb, the nation’s leading builder of active adult communities for those 55 and older, this weekend celebrated the grand opening of its newest Metro Nashville community, Del Webb Barton Village, with over 500 people in attendance coming from across the country. Homes are now for sale, and prospective residents are actively touring and purchasing.

To kick off the grand opening celebration, in partnership with the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Friday, March 28. Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto, Lebanon Mayor Rick Bell, city officials, Del Webb employees and development partners gathered to welcome the significant addition to the growing Lebanon community.

On Saturday, April 5, homeowners, future residents and neighbors of the community toured the model homes and celebrated with a live band, a cookout, a Dolly Parton impersonator and more. The event demonstrated the vibrant and social lifestyle residents can expect at Barton Village.

“We are proud to be joining the Lebanon community and believe this weekend’s celebration was a glimpse into the exceptional lifestyle Del Webb Barton Village will bring to the area,” said Jason Demuth, PulteGroup’s Tennessee Division president, Del Webb’s parent company. “As Del Webb’s first entry into a mixed-use, master-planned community in the region, this community in Barton Village is bringing a new level of integrated living to Lebanon’s active adults, offering retail and dining steps away from our customizable homes.”

The 240-acre 55+ community is located directly off Interstate 40 in Wilson County and is an integral part of the 350-acre mixed-use, master-planned Barton Village community. Future residents will enjoy the best of Del Webb’s serene, resort-like atmosphere while maintaining easy access to Barton Village’s curated offerings of dining, retail, offices, medical facilities and outdoor recreation.

Upon completion, Del Webb Barton Village will include over 700 homes, a 16,000-square-foot residents’ clubhouse, an outdoor amphitheater, indoor and outdoor resort-style pools, pickleball and bocce ball courts, a dog park and a dedicated area for food-truck parking for events. The first home buyers are expected to move into the community located at 250 Barton Village Blvd. in Lebanon in October 2025.
