Twist Bioscience Expands In Vivo Antibody Discovery Services with Launch of Humanized Transgenic Mouse Model

HuTg can be coupled with Twist hyperimmune DiversimAb mouse model and B cell screening methods

Twist Bioscience Corporation (NASDAQ: TWST), a core mid-cap growth and value equity company in the life sciences segment of the health care sector, today announced the launch of a humanized transgenic (HuTg) mouse model to expand and complement its offering of antibody discovery services and further streamline monoclonal antibody discovery.

“The humanized transgenic mouse model complements our current in vivo antibody discovery platforms and can be paired with our DiversimAb mouse and B cell screening platforms, offering researchers multiple methods that can be used independently or together to generate more candidates with greater flexibility across varied disease areas,” said Emily M. Leproust, CEO and co-founder of Twist Bioscience. “Typically, HuTg models require licensing from a provider but in contrast, Twist is offering a fee-for-service approach, working within customers’ budgets and timelines by eliminating often time-consuming licensing negotiations.”

The HuTg mouse model generates robust immune responses and human antibody repertoires to accelerate lead discovery and optimization. By using this platform, we enable Twist customers to identify fully human hits in weeks instead of months and streamlines translation into the clinic. This new offering expands and complements Twist’s in vivo antibody discovery capabilities as it can be paired with Twist’s DiversimAb mouse model to maximize epitope coverage and also paired with B cell screening platforms.
