Daniel Kasun joins Pega as head of global partner ecosystem to accelerate AI-driven legacy transformation through strategic partnerships

This appointment supports Pega’s focus on leveraging strategic partnerships and simplified commercial models to broaden market reach and drive application modernization. Under Kasun’s leadership, Pega will expand its ecosystem to help partners deliver cloud-native, modern applications faster than ever.

Kasun joins from Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he built and led partner organizations that delivered high growth co-sales in the public sector and financial services industries for over a decade, with a particular focus on helping Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) work effectively with the AWS sales organizations. Prior to AWS, he spent 18 years at Microsoft, driving innovation and revenue across regulated industries including government, education, and healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from Lehigh University.

Building an Ecosystem for AI Transformation

Pega’s strengthened partner strategy reflects its commitment to helping enterprises reimagine legacy systems and transform how they engage, operate, and serve customers. This approach centers on building an ecosystem that broadens market reach, improves service delivery, and supports transformation initiatives like cloud migration and application modernization.

Key pillars of this strategy include developing strong hyperscaler partnerships to help clients address a broader set of critical enterprise workloads, as well as cloud marketplace availability to make Pega solutions more accessible and easier to procure. These initiatives will complement the robust ecosystem of Pega partners to accelerate transformation of legacy customer solutions.

Additionally, Powered by Pega Blueprint, introduced at PegaWorld 2025, will continue to serve as the anchor for partner engagement and operational alignment. Partners can embed proprietary IP into their own branded versions of Pega Blueprint—the industry’s first workflow and decisioning design agent—to create powerful, customized solutions to help clients bring their legacy transformation visions to life and deliver greater impact across their client base.

With simplified commercial models and cloud marketplace access, partners can deliver AI-powered solutions to organizations of all sizes. The combination of hyperscaler alliances and Blueprint-enabled collaboration positions Pega to drive largescale legacy transformation at unprecedented scale.
