Hayden AI Celebrates 2,000 System Installations

Achievement cements Hayden AI as largest provider of mobile automated bus zone and bike lane enforcement systems in the United States

As of this week, Hayden AI, a leading provider of vision AI solutions powering safer, smarter, and more efficient cities, has installed over 2,000 vision AI systems on public transport buses across the globe, marking a significant milestone for the automated transit zone enforcement technology provider.

Hayden AI’s vehicle-mounted technology makes deploying AI practical for cities. The platform identifies parking and traffic violations while buses are moving, and easily incorporates unique city requirements for a variety of curbside management use cases. The system continuously learns from physical context to improve detection accuracy, while saving energy and protecting privacy with purpose-built hardware that operates entirely on the edge.

“Hayden AI is helping cities and transit agencies get everyone to their destinations safer and faster, with technology that pioneers the most cutting-edge advancements in computer vision and edge processing,” said Marty Beard, CEO of Hayden AI. “Our technology adapts to ever-changing urban environments, so it can detect traffic violations obstructing a bus lane in Barcelona just as accurately and efficiently as it does in Sacramento. These 2,000 system installations are just the start of how we can help cities improve urban mobility.”

Bus-mounted camera enforcement enhances road safety, on-time transit bus performance, and accessibility for people with disabilities. Nine major agencies across the United States currently deploy Hayden AI’s bus-mounted technology to help enforce parking violations in bus lanes, bike lanes, and bus stops and double parking. New York City was the first to adopt Hayden AI’s technology in 2022, followed by Washington DC, Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, Philadelphia, Culver City, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood.

In addition to installing its technology on buses, Hayden AI is partnering with the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) to install camera enforcement systems on urban streetcars. The camera systems will help enforce parking violations in streetcar stop zones and parking violations obstructing the forward movement of streetcars.

About Hayden AI: Hayden AI powers safer, smarter, and more efficient cities. We combine advanced vision AI with purpose-built, vehicle-mounted hardware to analyze urban environments in real-time. Cities use our technology to make streets safer and improve transit performance for everyone. Learn more at www.hayden.ai.
