Fulton County, Georgia, to Modernize Land Records Management with Tyler Technologies

Solution will help enhance security, stability, and workflow for the Clerk’s Office

Tyler Technologies, Inc (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed an agreement with the Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts’ office in Georgia for Tyler’s Enterprise Records Management solution. The office will modernize its land records management by implementing Tyler’s cloud-based solutions – Enterprise Records Management, Records Public Access, and Recording Access – all powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Fulton County is a current user of Tyler’s Enterprise Assessment & Tax and Enterprise Justice solutions. The office was looking for a more modern, advanced solution and selected Tyler’s Enterprise Records Management solution because it is user friendly and flexible enough to manage their workflow needs.

“Our decision to extend our partnership with Tyler was driven by the need for long-term stability, enhanced security, and streamlined operations. Moving to a cloud-based solution for our real estate records will strengthen our data protection and allow us to deliver even better service to our community. We’re excited to go live and take advantage of the efficiencies this new system will bring to our staff. Tyler was the only vendor that demonstrated both the innovation and financial strength required to support us – not just today, but as a true partner in building the Clerk’s Office of the future,” said the Honorable Ché Alexander, Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts.

Specifically, the Clerk’s Office will use Tyler’s solutions to:

  • Increase efficiencies with its Assessment, Tax Claim, and Treasurer offices through integration with Tyler’s Enterprise Assessment & Tax solution
  • Improve document controls with Intelligent Redaction
  • Optimize internal processes using the solutions’ built-in configurable workflow queues and automated recording function for bulk recordings
  • Offer 24/7 remote public access and a free fraud alert system to their constituents
  • Experience secure, enterprise-class data storage with built-in disaster recovery services

“We’re impressed with Fulton County’s vision to build the Clerk’s Office of the future through advanced but user-friendly technology,” said Mark Hawkins, president of Tyler’s Property & Recording Division. “We know that the combination of our Enterprise Records Management solution along with additional Tyler products will enhance service for staff and constituents. We’re confident that the county will experience increased security, stability, flexibility, and service as a result of this implementation.”

Fulton County includes Georgia’s capital, Atlanta, and has a population of more than 1 million. The Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts’ office is responsible for overseeing all real estate records in the county.
