Ventas Releases 2024-2025 Corporate Sustainability Report

Report Details Corporate Sustainability Initiatives Supporting the Company’s Strategy to Capitalize on Accelerating Demand Amid Unprecedented Multiyear Growth Opportunity

Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) (“Ventas” or the “Company”) today announced the release of its 2024-2025 Corporate Sustainability Report (“CSR”). The report outlines the Company’s corporate sustainability initiatives that are designed to support growth and value creation as Ventas capitalizes on accelerating demand for senior housing and enables exceptional environments that benefit a large and growing aging population. The CSR is available at https://www.ventasreit.com/csr2025.

“With demand for our properties set to accelerate amid an unprecedented demographic shift, our scale, access to capital, advantaged platform, data analytics capabilities and operational expertise position us to capture the multiyear growth opportunity ahead in senior housing,” said Debra A. Cafaro, Ventas Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Across our enterprise, Ventas’s corporate sustainability efforts are designed to support our growth, enhance the resident and tenant experience, mitigate risk and drive long-term value creation as we advance our mission of helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives. Our long-term investment horizon and commitment to the well-being of those who rely on our properties makes us a positive contributor in the communities where we invest.”

Ventas’s sustainability priorities are organized under three pillars detailed in the CSR:

  1. Sustainable Business: Ventas pursues sustainable business practices that drive efficiency and operational performance, enhance resident and tenant satisfaction, increase asset resiliency, mitigate risk and benefit the communities where we operate.
  2. Exceptional Employees: To attract, retain and develop top talent and foster a high-performing, results-driven and collaborative culture, Ventas provides an industry-leading benefits program and focuses on employee professional growth and development, engagement, health, well-being and safety.
  3. High Standards: Ventas’s strong corporate governance and commitment to ethics, integrity and transparency serve as the foundation for creating and sustaining value.

Ventas’s commitment to sustainability is underscored by receipt of prominent third-party recognitions in 2024, including Nareit’s inaugural “Impact at Scale” award and, for the eighth time, its “Leader in the Light” award for Health Care.
