Guardinex Announces Appointment of Scott Carter to Board of Directors
Recognized industry expert and former ID Analytics CEO brings broad expertise in Data, AI, FinTech and Risk Management.

Philadelphia, Pa. – Jan 18th, 2022 – Guardinex announced this week the appointment of Scott Carter to their Board of Directors. Carter will help guide company strategy and offer operational, technical and market insight as he brings to bear three decades experience in financial services, FinTech, Data, AI and Risk Management.

Carter served as CEO and previously COO at ID Analytics (now LexisNexis) from 2014-2018, a period in which the company enjoyed rapid growth acceleration, more than tripling monthly SaaS transactions.    He currently serves on the boards of Lending USA and Vital4 and is a Board Advisor to Mitek (Nasdaq: MITK).  He also serves as Operating Partner at Bryce Catalyst, a recently formed boutique venture fund. Earlier in his career, Carter held senior level roles at Experian, FICO and First Union (now Wells Fargo).

Aravind Immaneni, Guardinex Founder and CEO said “We are very excited for Scott Carter to join our board of directors.  He has a great reputation in the fintech industry and his diverse range of experiences and track record are well aligned with our areas of focus and expertise.”

Carter commented, “Immediately upon meeting Aravind and team, I was intrigued by their unique approach in combining new risk signals and advanced AI methodologies to mitigate risk for banks, lenders and FinTech organizations.  Additionally, the early market traction and customer feedback reinforced my view that Guardinex is well poised to disrupt this space.”

Guardinex fraud and identity solutions incorporate unique risk signals from the dark web, combined with a variety of other data sources.  The value of these various insights is then amplified via advanced AI and machine learning methodologies, resulting in a highly predictive and real time risk assessment.
