Activist, Deric Lostutter, Volunteers at Clark County, Kentucky, Homeless Shelter

By: Get News

Clark County, Kentucky - Deric Lostutter, the hacker and activist known for his work on the Steubenville High School rape case, is taking his activism to a local level by volunteering at a homeless shelter in Clark County. Lostutter has been volunteering his time at the shelter to help facilitate the transition to a larger and more modern facility.

The new shelter, which just opened up at the end of 2022, is able to accommodate more individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Lostutter worked with the shelter's staff and volunteers to help with the move and ensure that the new facility is up and running smoothly.

Lostutter's involvement in the project has been praised by local officials and community members, who see his dedication to improving the lives of others as a shining example of community service. "Deric's commitment to making a positive difference in our community is truly inspiring," said one Clark County government official who wished to remain anonymous. "His hard work and dedication to this project are a testament to his character and his passion for helping those in need."

Lostutter, who moved to Kentucky in 2006 and whose family has deep roots in the state, has long been an advocate for social justice and has used his platform to raise awareness about issues such as homelessness, poverty, and inequality. He sees his work at the homeless shelter as a natural extension of his activism and a way to give back to his community.

"I believe that it's our responsibility as members of a community to support one another and work together to create a better future for everyone," Lostutter said. "I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important project and to help make a positive difference in the lives of those who are struggling."

Lostutter's work at the homeless shelter is a reminder of the power of individual action to effect positive change in the world. By volunteering his time and expertise, Lostutter is showing that even small acts of kindness can have a significant impact on the lives of those in need.
