Milunova Expands the Pupr Pals™ Line With the Launch of Quetzal Interactive Puppet Toy for Cats and Dogs

By: Get News

Los Angeles, CA - September 15, 2025 - Milunova, a brand dedicated to designing innovative pet products, is pleased to announce the launch of Pupr Pals™ Quetzal, the newest addition to its patent pending line of interactive dog and cat puppet toys. The launch coincides with Guatemalan Independence Day on September 15, honoring the cultural inspiration behind the design.

Pupr Pals™ Quetzal

Like the rest of the Pupr Pals™ collection, the Quetzal puppet is worn on the arm, allowing pet parents and trainers to safely play with their pets in a way that mirrors how puppies and kittens play with each other. The toy incorporates protective and stimulating elements, including protective padding and a scratch-resistant sleeve for safe, interactive play sessions between pets and their parents.

Cultural Storytelling Through Design

The Quetzal puppet is modeled after Guatemala’s national bird, a long-standing emblem of freedom and cultural heritage. Each toy is paired with a Maya inspired codex artwork, using glyphs and traditional design elements to present the Quetzal’s story in visual narrative. The packaging also incorporates motifs from Palencia textiles, developed in collaboration with a Guatemalan artist. By integrating these artistic details, the product reflects a thoughtful connection to Guatemala’s history and craftsmanship.

Key Features of the Pupr Pals™ Quetzal

  • Protective padding and scratch-resistant sleeves for durable play with dogs and cats.

  • Bungee tail designed for tug-of-war games that encourage active exercise.

  • White crinkly tail for sound-stimulated play that keeps pets curious.

  • Soft, low-noise hidden squeaker in the throat to stimulate natural prey drive.

  • Velcro holder combining play and treat motivation for unmatched dog enjoyment.

  • Puppet style design enables interactive play that mirrors pet play behavior.

  • Versatile training tool to redirect behaviors and manage high energy.

  • Created by blending engineering expertise and fostering experience.

Expanding the Pupr Pals™ Collection

With Quetzal, Milunova continues to grow the Pupr Pals™ series, introducing an entirely new way for people to bond with their pets. The collection is designed to fill a market gap for toys that are not only durable and safe but also encourage meaningful interactions and training opportunities.

Following the positive reception of Nujob, the first Pupr Pals™ release, the Quetzal builds on that foundation by offering pet parents more variety and play styles. The line reflects Milunova’s mission to create products that enrich daily life with pets and help build lasting bonds.

The Pupr Pals™ collection is available through Milunova’s website, Amazon, and select retail partners. To learn more and to explore Milunova’s entire product line, please visit https://milunova.com/.
