SEATTLE, April 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sana Biotechnology, Inc. (NASDAQ: SANA), a company focused on changing the possible for patients through engineered cells, today announced that management will host a Research & Development (R&D) Day on Thursday, May 23, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET in New York, NY.

The event will include a comprehensive overview of Sana’s R&D portfolio, with a focus on programs within the hypoimmune and fusogen platforms, including additional information on the two programs with clinical proof of concept trials expected this year – SC291, the hypoimmune-modified CD19-targeted allogeneic CAR T product candidate for B-cell malignancies and the investigator-sponsored trial using hypoimmune-modified primary human islet cells for type 1 diabetes.
