Chindata Group Announces Formation of Special Committee

BEIJING, June 08, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Chindata Group Holdings Limited (“Chindata Group” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: CD), a leading carrier-neutral hyperscale data center solution provider in Asia-Pacific emerging markets, today announced its board of directors (the “Board”) has formed a special committee (the “Special Committee”) consisting of three disinterested, independent directors, namely Mr. Thomas J. Manning, who will serve as the chairman of the Special Committee, and Mr. Gang Yu and Mr. Weili Hong, to evaluate and consider the previously announced preliminary non-binding proposal letter dated June 6, 2023 (the “Proposal”). The Special Committee intends to retain independent legal and financial advisors in due course to assist it in evaluating the proposal.
