Demetris (Dee) Bryant selected as Top International Speaker & Author of the Year by IAOTP

Demetris (Dee) Bryant, International Keynote Speaker and Brilliant Author, was recently selected as Top International Speaker and Author of the Year for 2023 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to professional speaking.

These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, other affiliations, and contributions to their communities. While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. The Dee Bryant Inspired LLC was established in March 2017 after the release of the 2016 book "Holding On and Not Giving Up on Yourself." Through motivating lectures and participatory conversations about failure, making errors, confronting obstacles, self-doubt, and hopelessness, the firm intends to address the issue of low self-esteem among our children. In 2019, Dee released her second book, "Girls Wear Combat Boots Too," which was written exclusively for young children. This book instills in young children a can-do, will-do mentality. Dee Bryant inspired LLC recognizes that navigating life as a young person in the twenty-first century may be challenging. As a result, the organization is helping to develop the hearts and minds of children and adolescents.

Throughout her illustrious career, Dee has received many awards and accolades and is recognized for her expertise as a professional speaker. This year she is being considered for the Empowered Woman of the Year Award given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). She will be honored for her distinction as Top International Speaker of the Year for 2023 at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala next December.

Before embarking on her professional path Dee graduated from high school in Jacksonville, Florida, earning three degrees, including a Certificate in Business Administration from Georgetown University. She worked full-time at a fast-food restaurant while cultivating her ambition, faith, and hope for a brighter life after graduation. She had enlisted in the military to achieve independence, acquire a skill, see the globe, and earn money for college. Several months after obtaining advice from her high school guidance counselor, she chose to meet with an Army recruiter to discuss potential alternatives for military service. Ms. Bryant was never interested in serving in the military or wearing the uniform; nevertheless, at a crossroads in her life, she understood that the Army might provide the life-altering chance she needed and desired. Dee states that her most significant accomplishment was "wearing the uniform with pride" and serving her nation.

Ms. Bryant possesses a Master of Business Administration degree and a Business certification from Georgetown University. Dee withdrew from the Army in 2006 after 21 years of loyal and honorable service and is presently employed by the government in cyber operations.

Dee's passion is encouraging and inspiring the next generation to bring positive change to the world. Ms. Bryant is designing engaging seminars relevant to real-world issues to inspire and to always keep God first. She thinks in her heart that our children are special, one-of-a-kind, and unique in God's sight, and she intends to convey this message. Dee considers it a great privilege to share her honest thoughts with our young people. Without a doubt, this is Dee's way of giving back and praising God.

Dee has launched a podcast series on Spotify titled Dee Bryant Inspired, in which she changes the game by encouraging and inspiring young people to join the Army.

Ms. Bryant will be retiring early from government service to concentrate on her passion full time. It is her passion of motivating and inspiring young people to be great through her storytelling based on her life’s experiences especially while serving in the Army.

Dee is a devoted wife and the happy mother of two lovely girls. She spent nine years serving in her youngest daughter's classroom and fostering good ties with the administration, teachers, parents, and children. Dee quickly realized that many of our youth require encouragement, guidance, and direction. She spent years pondering and asking God how to give back to her community. God has answered her prayers, starting with her two books which have just made the New York Times Best Books List of 2022.

Looking back, Dee attributes her success to her perseverance, enthusiasm, originality, and passion for helping entrepreneurs and companies improve and grow. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, being active in her church and community. In the future, Ms. Bryant plans to speak more across corporate America encouraging employees to focus on personal and professional growth while striving for excellence even while facing failure, or disappointment.
