New Mural “Clash Power” Is A Safe Haven For Creative Entrepreneurs In Philadelphia, PA

Philadelphia, PA, United States - 01-23-2023 (PR Distribution™) -

A new mural was dedicated January 18th, 2023 at 4560 Germantown Ave, in Philadelphia.

Femi Olatunji, Philadelphia based musician & artist, in collaboration with Apliiq, Mural Arts Philadelphia and Philly Office Realty are proud to dedicate a new 95 foot long mural being installed on the prominent 4560 Germantown Ave location in support of the creative entrepreneurs in Philadelphia.

This artwork titled "Clash Power" is an ode to the presence of patterns in daily human life, especially in fashion. Inspired by the common phenomenon of "power clashing" - the act of wearing or juxtaposing seemingly unmatching patterns, this piece encourages viewers to immerse themselves in beautiful loud patterns no matter how they clash. The design aims to be colorful, playful, and engaging. The hope is that it will bring joy and brighten up this corner, attracting new energy to the block and encouraging people to take pictures in front of the wall as a bright backdrop for photos.

The mural is installed at Apliiq’s Philadelphia print on demand manufacturing facility and features beautiful bright colors and an array of fun overlapping patterns that you are sure to notice as you drive North along Germantown Avenue from Nicetown.  The mural was planned for aesthetic benefits it provides, but also so it can be used as a backdrop for commercial photography for clothing brands.

Emily Gruber, Apliiq COO said it best, “We are so thankful to partner with Femi & Philly Mural Arts to dedicate this mural to the creative entrepreneurs of Philadelphia. We think it will be an amazing backdrop for lifestyle photography and provide a safe, fun environment for clothing brand owners to put their brands in the best possible light.”

Speaking of the best light, the mural is beautifully front lit with soft lighting in the morning hours, which would be an ideal time to coordinate a photo shoot for your brand.

As part of the mural planning and design process, Femi graciously agreed to give clothing brands and other business owners the rights to use this mural in their commercial photography.  “Creating stunning visuals is such an important part of creating a vibrant brand so we are happy to have this amazing mural as a beautiful backdrop for brand owners in Philadelphia.  Everyone owes Femi a huge thank you.” said Emily Gruber, COO of Apliiq.
