K L Contractor Plumbing Inc. Celebrates Chalktoberfest 2025 and the Spirit of Marietta

MARIETTA, GA - October 14, 2025 - PRESSADVANTAGE -

This past weekend, thousands gathered on the historic Marietta Square to celebrate Chalktoberfest 2025, and K L Contractor Plumbing Inc. was proud to be part of the excitement. The festival turned city streets into a vibrant canvas of color, music, food, and connection bringing together artists, families, small businesses, and visitors from across the state.

As a local business deeply rooted in the Marietta community, K L Contractor Plumbing Inc. sees events like Chalktoberfest as a reminder of what makes this city special. From the kids laughing in the chalk zone to the artists pouring hours of creativity into temporary murals, the entire weekend echoed what it means to live and serve in a place that values both tradition and imagination.

Marietta Chalktober Fest 2025

Alex Laldin, Marketing Director at K L Contractor Plumbing Inc., shared his thoughts on the company’s involvement and pride in calling Marietta home. “We show up every day to fix plumbing issues, but our purpose runs deeper than that,” Laldin said. “When you see thousands of people coming together to support local artists, musicians, food trucks, and businesses, it reminds you that strong communities don’t happen by accident. They’re built through connection, care, and showing up.”

Chalktoberfest 2025 was more than a festival it was a showcase of unity. Over 80 chalk artists filled the pavement with colorful 2D and 3D works. Local bands played in Glover Park. Food trucks and pop-up vendors filled the air with the smell of barbecue, baked goods, and fresh kettle corn. Families walked the square, paused to admire street art, and cheered for the Community Chalk Competition. The Kids Chalk Zone was packed from open to close, with children covered in chalk dust and smiles.

While the art will wash away, the impact remains. The event not only drew visitors from across Georgia, but it also gave a much-needed boost to local restaurants, coffee shops, and small storefronts that line the square. As a service provider that supports homeowners and businesses every day, K L Contractor Plumbing recognizes how vital these events are for the long-term health of the local economy.

“This is what it means to live in Marietta,” Laldin said. “We’re not just working in a service area we’re investing in the city that raises our kids, supports our jobs, and brings people together like this. We’re proud to play our part, even if it’s behind the scenes, making sure homes, schools, and shops are ready to open their doors and welcome the crowd.”

Chalktoberfest continues to be one of Marietta’s most cherished fall traditions. Sponsored by the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, the event supports year-round arts education and outreach in the community. It also celebrates what makes Marietta unique public art, family fun, strong local business, and a shared sense of identity.

K L Contractor Plumbing Inc. joins other small businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers in recognizing that events like this depend on collaboration. From clean streets and working water lines to reliable city services, there’s an unseen layer of support that makes celebrations possible.

“People don’t think about infrastructure when they’re enjoying chalk art or sipping craft beer but they should,” said Laldin. “These moments happen because our city functions well. And that’s where we come in. We’re proud to serve behind the scenes and help keep the foundation strong for events that matter.”

While K L Contractor Plumbing is known for solving plumbing problems quickly and efficiently, the company also believes in supporting the joy and culture of the neighborhoods it serves. Being part of Chalktoberfest even just as a local business celebrating with the community is part of that mission.

As the chalk fades from the sidewalks and Marietta moves into its next season of events, the team at K L Contractor Plumbing Inc. remains committed to showing up, giving back, and strengthening the community in every way they can.
