Dunlap, TN Author Publishes Humorous Memoir

By: PR Leap
(PRLeap.com) "I Survived Property Management - Well, Sorta", a new book by Carla Runner, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

"I Survived Property Management - Well, Sorta" isn't your typical how-to guide. In her debut book, author Carla Runner shares a candid, humorous, and heartfelt collection of true stories from her 36-year journey in the apartment management industry.

Told with warmth, wit, and a healthy dose of nostalgia, Runner's stories reveal the often-overlooked human side of property management. From laugh-out-loud encounters to touching moments with residents and coworkers, "I Survived Property Management - Well, Sorta" offers an inside look at the unpredictable, and often unforgettable, world behind the leasing office.

These aren't just stories about buildings and tenants, they're about people, and whether you've worked in property management or not, you'll likely recognize someone you know in these pages.

Based on real events and shared through the author's unique lens, the book captures the highs, lows, and unexpected twists that come with managing communities and managing people.

About the Author
Carla Runner began her property management career at the age of 20 as a maintenance clerk, eventually overseeing properties with more than 700 apartments. After 36 years in the industry, she retired at 56 to pursue her passion for baking, launching a successful pie and cookie business.

Carla and her husband Mark married in 1990 and raised three children, Angela, Jordan, and Jesse, while maintaining full-time careers. Their lives have been rooted in faith, with over 30 years of service in their church's worship ministry. Today, they reside in the picturesque Sequatchie Valley of Tennessee, where they enjoy hiking, motorcycle rides, and the company of Mark's mother, Bonnie, and their beloved Sheltie rescue dogs.

"I Survived Property Management - Well, Sorta" is a 72-page paperback with a retail price of $13.00 (eBook $8.00). The ISBN is 979-8-89649-230-6. Published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
