Eugene, OR Author Publishes Mystery Novel

By: PR Leap
(PRLeap.com) "Remnant of Days", a new book by Arrow Wren, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

The nightmare began six years ago when five siblings-the Day children-were mysteriously abducted from their beds in the dead of night. Only two returned, physically mutilated and stripped of their memories. With the case unsolved and zero arrests made, the small community has been left with an open wound.

Now, on the sixth anniversary of the tragedy, their father, Bill Day, vanishes in the exact same manner as his children.

Enter Rhett Breaux, a retired veteran and true-crime writer, who travels to Connecticut with his friend and private investigator, Elise Coburg, to investigate the baffling, connected disappearances. Their mission: uncover the truth behind what happened to the Day children and find Bill before it's too late.

As Rhett meticulously digs into the case, his investigation takes an unexpected personal turn when he falls for Olivia Day, the oldest of the two surviving siblings. The deepening relationship, however, brings a chilling realization: Olivia and her brother, Peter, remember everything-and they know where their missing siblings are. This buried knowledge threatens to shatter the long-standing silence and blow the entire case wide open, revealing a truth far more sinister than anyone imagined.

Remnant of Days is a propulsive story of forgotten trauma, hidden secrets, and a race against time to save a family. Wren masterfully weaves together true-crime grit with an emotional human drama, cementing her place as a thrilling new voice in the genre.
