Phoenix Advocacy Network Launches to Amplify Survivor Voices and Advance Disability Rights

By: PRLog
Founded by Dr. Sharisse Stephenson: Shining light on injustice where institutions stay silent

DALLAS - Sept. 29, 2025 - PRLog -- Physician and disability rights advocate Dr. Sharisse Stephenson today announced the launch of the Phoenix Advocacy Network (PAN), a new survivor-led media and advocacy platform. PAN is dedicated to amplifying stories of discrimination, retaliation, and systemic failures — and to advancing the fight for disability rights and workplace justice.

Through blogs, videos, and survivor contributions, PAN will shine a light on issues often ignored by traditional media, including:
  • Disability rights — ensuring equal access and protection under the law.
  • Workplace retaliation and discrimination — exposing how employers silence workers.
  • Corporate accountability — highlighting systemic abuses of power.
  • Regulatory inaction — when oversight agencies fail to intervene.
  • Media gaps — why survivor stories rarely make it into mainstream outlets.

Dr. Stephenson founded PAN after hearing from survivors whose experiences mirrored her own:

"Disability rights are civil rights. Too often, people are punished for speaking up or denied access to the very systems meant to protect them. Phoenix Advocacy Network is about amplifying those voices, connecting their stories to systemic patterns, and demanding accountability."

PAN will publish weekly blogs and videos that connect personal testimony to broader issues, offering survivors an outlet and the public a sharper view of how systems work — or fail to.

About PAN

The Phoenix Advocacy Network is a survivor-led platform founded in 2025 to spotlight disability rights, corporate accountability, and systemic injustice. By elevating survivor voices, PAN seeks to transform pain into power and advocacy.
