By: PRLog
The Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation invites community members to its 2025 Annual Community Meeting, for an afternoon of connection, celebration, and community impact exploration.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Sept. 9, 2025 - PRLog -- The Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation (AAACF) will host its Annual Community Meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. EST at Washtenaw Community College, Morris J. Lawrence Building. This year's theme, "Rising Together – Celebrating our Collective Impact," underscores the power of connection, collaboration, and community investment across Washtenaw County.

The Annual Community Meeting is one of AAACF's signature gatherings, bringing together residents, donors, nonprofits, and civic leaders for an afternoon of celebration and reflection. Attendees will enjoy food, fellowship, and a firsthand look at the impact of collective giving throughout the region.

"Every success story in our community is built on partnerships," said Shannon Polk, President & CEO of AAACF. "This meeting is about honoring the spirit of working together — celebrating the donors, nonprofits, and residents who ensure Washtenaw County thrives."

What Attendees Can Expect
The event will feature:
  • Networking & Collaboration — A gathering space for leaders and residents to exchange ideas, foster connections, and explore new opportunities for impact.
  • Impact Highlights — Showcasing how AAACF grants, scholarships, and partnerships have advanced equity, education, health, the arts, and more throughout Washtenaw County.
  • Community Voices & Donor Impact — Engage in interactive Q&A with AAACF advisors and hear inspiring stories from donors shaping philanthropy across Washtenaw County.

Why It Matters
Since its founding in 1963, AAACF has been committed to building a stronger, more equitable region. The Annual Community Meeting serves as a cornerstone for transparency and celebration, reinforcing AAACF's mission to connect resources with community needs. By coming together, attendees not only learn about the foundation's work but also play a role in shaping what comes next.
