Movement Opens New Mountain View Facility: A Hub for Climbing, Yoga, and Fitness

State-of-the-Art Climbing Gym Offers 24,000 Square Feet of Bouldering, Yoga, and Fitness to the Bay Area Community — and Free Climbing Sessions this Weekend

(PRUnderground) May 14th, 2025

Movement Climbing, Yoga, and Fitness, the nation’s largest climbing gym, is excited to announce the opening of its newest location in Mountain View, California. Opening to the public on Wednesday, May 14th, Movement Mountain View will bring 24,000 square feet of climbing, yoga, and fitness to the heart of Silicon Valley.

The facility will be offering free climbing (with free rentals and a climbing basics class) this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and also plans to host a formal open house on Saturday, May 31st, to introduce area residents to all the facility has to offer.

Located at the northwest corner of San Antonio Rd and El Camino Real, the new facility will be a hub for climbers, yogis, and fitness enthusiasts of all levels, providing a welcoming space to climb, move, and connect.

With 7,800 square feet of bouldering terrain, Movement Mountain View will offer something for everyone—from seasoned climbers to complete beginners. The gym features a striking bouldering cave for steep climbing, TB2 and Kilter Training Boards, and a boutique-style yoga studio. It also includes a fully equipped weight and cardio zone with turf for functional training, a community space for members to connect, and a dedicated gear shop.

“We’re thrilled to bring Movement to Mountain View and expand our community in the Bay Area,” said Ben Le, Director of Movement Mountain View. “This gym will be more than just a place to climb and work out—it’s a space where people can challenge themselves, build confidence, and connect with others who share a love for movement and adventure.”

In addition to top-tier climbing and fitness amenities, Movement Mountain View offers accessibility and convenience, with ample free parking and a central location close to local businesses, restaurants, and key public transit options, including the 22-El Camino bus line, the Caltrain San Antonio Station, and MVgo Routes C & D.

With a mission to create exceptional climbing, yoga, and fitness experiences that encourage growth and invite connection, Movement is proud to add Mountain View to its growing community of gyms across the country.  Mountain View will be Movement’s fifth location in the Bay Area, joining its established gyms in San Francisco, Belmont, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara.
