This event marks the culmination of Movement’s annual pledge to match donations up to $50,000 for Access Fund’s Climbers for Public Lands June Donation Match Campaign.

“We owe so much gratitude to every climber and donor who joined us in supporting Access Fund’s vital work,” said Anne-Worley Moelter, CEO of Movement Climbing, Yoga & Fitness. “This celebration is a way to bring our community together, on the wall and off, to honor the shared mission of protecting the places we love to climb.”

“The support from Movement and its community ensures we can expand Climber Steward programs, restore trails, and advocate for public lands,” said Heather Thorne, Executive Director at Access Fund. “This event at Movement Gowanus celebrates not just dollars raised, but the power of climbers standing up for conservation.”

Since June 2, Movement’s match campaign has doubled every donation made to Access Fund, driving critical funding for trail restoration, crag stewardship, and education. This year’s efforts have helped sustain climbing access on federal lands facing budget cuts and development pressures.

“As someone who’s always felt a deep connection to nature through outdoor rock climbing, it’s an honor to celebrate a successful conservation effort like this one with Movement Gyms,” said Alexis Krauss, Access Fund Board Member and lead singer of Sleigh Bells. “By rallying fellow climbers to support public lands, we’re strengthening the ties between our community and the very places that inspire us.”

All are welcome—bring friends, family, and fellow climbers to share in good vibes, great music, and meaningful conversations. Whether you’ve donated or simply want to learn more, the Access Fund Match Celebration is a chance to climb together, celebrate conservation wins, and look ahead to future stewardship efforts.
