$25,000 Reward Offered for Information in Hit-and-Run That Killed 81 Year Old Margaret Brown in Las Vegas

During a podcast of “The Problem Solver”, hosted by David Kohlmeier, local businessman Jim Marsh offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of 81 year old Margaret Brown in Las Vegas.

The tragic incident occurred on Thursday, June 13th, 2025 while the victim was walking in a marked crosswalk on Grand Canyon Drive and Desert Inn Rd.

During a powerful episode of The Problem Solver Podcast, recorded live at Origin Studios on Tuesday, July 15th at 3:30 PM, Margaret Brown’s brother Joe Brown was joined by Jim Marsh. Jim Marsh is a prominent figure in Las Vegas, Nevada, known for his involvement in the automotive industry and his ownership of the Skyline Hotel and Casino. He owns Jim Marsh Chrysler Jeep and Jim Marsh Kia dealerships, as well as the Skyline Hotel & Casino. He has also invested in various rural Nevada businesses, including motels, bars, and casinos. On the podcast, Jim Marsh publicly committed $25,000 in cash toward the reward to help bring justice to “Peggy” Margaret Brown and her family.
“We’re hoping this reward encourages someone to come forward with pertinent information”, said podcast host David Kohlmeier, a retired Henderson and NYPD police officer and advocate for victims. “We believe there are people out there who know something. It’s time to speak up and call 1-833-TIPSCASH”

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) continues to investigate the case but is now turning to the public for help in bringing justice to Margaret and her grieving family.
