Phil de Tournillon Acquires RiverFlow, Ushering in a New Era of Growth and Innovation

With a renewed focus and strategic investments, RiverFlow is charting a course for long-term expansion.

(PRUnderground) August 19th, 2025

RiverFlow, a leader in moving water technology, is excited to announce its acquisition by Phil de Tournillon, marking a pivotal step in the company’s evolution. The acquisition was finalized in April 2025, following a long-standing partnership between de Tournillon and RiverFlow’s inventor, Peter Davidson.

The relationship began in 2006 when de Tournillon installed a RiverFlow Swim Gym in his home, sparking years of collaboration and shared commitment to aquatic innovation. With the acquisition, de Tournillon takes on the role of CEO and owner, bringing a clear vision for growth and technological advancement.

Under the new leadership, RiverFlow has already made key operational moves, including the opening of a new distribution and service center in Central Texas to better serve customers across the region. Manufacturing operations will remain in Ventura, California, while the executive headquarters will continue to operate from Boca Raton, Florida.

“We are committed to building on RiverFlow’s legacy of performance, reliability, and engineering excellence,” said de Tournillon. “This acquisition is about expanding possibilities while staying true to the innovative spirit that made RiverFlow a category leader.”

With a renewed focus and strategic investments, RiverFlow is well-positioned for long-term growth and continued leadership in the swim current industry.
