Zizzle Inventions Returns With a Bold New Vision for STEM Learning

Toronto-based design duo Noam Lamdan and Alexandra Pokras relaunch their award-winning educational children’s app for ages 3 to 7.

(PRUnderground) September 10th, 2025

Zizzlelab, the creative studio founded by Toronto designers Noam Lamdan and Alexandra Pokras, is relaunching Zizzle Inventions. This interactive STEM learning app is tailored for children ages 3 to 7. Set to be released later this year on the App Store and Google Play, the app transforms everyday objects into teachable moments—turning curiosity into discovery through play.

Zizzle Inventions allows kids to explore how common inventions work by taking them apart, learning how they function, and rebuilding them. With vibrant illustrations, playful animation, and simplified STEM logic, the app engages young learners who may not naturally gravitate toward science or math.

“STEM isn’t just for a certain type of learner—it’s for anyone who’s ever asked ‘how does that work?’” said co-founder Noam Lamdan. “Our goal is to make technical learning feel intuitive and joyful. If a 4-year-old walks away excited about how a toaster works, we’ve done our job.”

The app includes a growing in-app library of machines ranging from elevators to cement trucks that will be updated monthly. By breaking down complex ideas into child-friendly parts, Zizzle Inventions builds confidence, improves problem-solving, and encourages early STEM fluency.

Designed for both home and classroom use, the app also features adjustable difficulty levels, audio guidance for pre-readers, and multi-language support to meet the needs of diverse learners. The intuitive interface helps children follow their curiosity independently, while built-in progress tracking lets caregivers see how their child’s understanding grows over time.

The project reflects the creative strengths of its founders. Lamdan, a graphic designer with a background in architecture, brings structural clarity and polish to Zizzle’s visual design. Pokras, a designer and interactive strategist, leads product development with a focus on inclusivity, narrative, and user experience.

Both Lamdan and Pokras have earned recognition for their contributions to educational design. With this relaunch, Zizzle Inventions expands on its shared mission: making learning tools that are as fun as they are foundational.
