Brighton Hospice Named 2025 Central Indiana Top Workplaces Winner by IndyStar

Brighton Hospice joins elite group of 61 major employers recognized for exceptional workplace culture and employee satisfaction

(PRUnderground) September 16th, 2025

Brighton Hospice Indiana has been selected as a 2025 Central Indiana Top Workplaces winner, joining an exclusive group of only 61 organizations with more than 400 employees to receive this prestigious recognition.

The annual Top Workplaces awards are based on employee feedback collected through an anonymous survey conducted by Energage, working in partnership with IndyStar. The recognition highlights Brighton Hospice’s commitment to creating an exceptional workplace culture while delivering compassionate end-of-life care throughout the Indianapolis area.

“Being recognized as a Top Workplace is a tremendous honor that reflects our team’s dedication to our patients, mission, and one another,” said Demetria Newell, Hospice Administrator at Brighton Hospice Indiana. “This recognition validates our efforts to create a supportive, family-like environment where our staff can provide the highest quality comfort care to patients and families during their most challenging times.”

Established in February 2020 with headquarters in Carmel, Brighton Hospice Indiana has opened offices in Greenwood and Yorktown, IN. Brighton serves patients throughout the Indianapolis area, providing in-home hospice care wherever patients reside. The organization takes pride in delivering the best comfort care in Indianapolis to patients and their families during end-of-life journeys.

The Top Workplaces recognition is supported by employee feedback gathered through Energage’s anonymous survey, which revealed the strong workplace culture at Brighton Hospice:

“My team members and leadership are like family. I feel both accepted and motivated to do my personal best every day,” shared one Brighton Hospice Indianapolis employee.

“They really do care about the employees and patients,” noted another team member.

A third employee emphasized the meaningful nature of the work: “I get to do something I am passionate about and receive the support to do it.”

These testimonials underscore Brighton Hospice’s dual commitment to supporting both its workforce and the families they serve. The organization’s approach creates an environment where employees feel valued and empowered to deliver exceptional hospice care with compassion and professionalism.

Brighton Hospice Indiana continues to expand its services throughout the Indianapolis area, always ready to meet with families for hospice education and provide comprehensive end-of-life support.
