This autonomous control of the Heterogeneous Sensing Network (HSN) will utilize AI and sensor networks to enhance autonomous platforms, including Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UASs) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

Sarcos’s AI-driven methods enable autonomous systems to function in unison more efficiently, improving operational safety, data collection, and communication. The solution leverages sensor data to enable accurate autonomous operations in dynamic, unstructured environments like subsea operations, solar panel installations, and Air Force systems, mirroring human adaptability to real-world environments.

Creation of Sarcos’s New Advanced Technologies Division

Anticipating significant growth from software as a service (SaaS) and AI applications for robotic systems, Sarcos has announced the formation of the Advanced Technologies Division. This unit will focus on the development of AI and machine learning (ML) software platforms for generalizable autonomy, enabling robots to learn from experience using a success-based learning approach.

The Advanced Technologies Division aims to further Sarcos’s AI and ML platforms, making them applicable to a variety of autonomous systems, such as factory robots and drones.
