Harley-Davidson reported revenues of $687.6 million, down 34.7% year on year. This print fell short of analysts’ expectations by 3.8%. Overall, it was a disappointing quarter for the company with a miss of analysts’ motorcycles sold estimates and a significant miss of analysts’ adjusted operating income estimates.

Best Q4: Malibu Boats (NASDAQ: MBUU)

Founded in California in 1982, Malibu Boats (NASDAQ: MBUU) is a manufacturer of high-performance sports boats and luxury watercrafts.

Malibu Boats reported revenues of $200.3 million, down 5.1% year on year, outperforming analysts’ expectations by 4.8%. The business had an exceptional quarter with an impressive beat of analysts’ EPS estimates and a solid beat of analysts’ adjusted operating income estimates.

Solo Brands (NYSE: DTC)

Started through a Kickstarter campaign, Solo Brands (NYSE: DTC) is a provider of outdoor and recreational products.

Solo Brands reported revenues of $143.5 million, down 13.2% year on year, falling short of analysts’ expectations by 10%. It was a disappointing quarter as it posted a miss of analysts’ Wholesale revenue estimates.

Solo Brands delivered the weakest performance against analyst estimates in the group. As expected, the stock is down 66.1% since the results and currently trades at $0.22.

Ruger (NYSE: RGR)

Founded in 1949, Ruger (NYSE: RGR) is an American manufacturer of firearms for the commercial sporting market.

Ruger reported revenues of $145.8 million, up 11.6% year on year. This result topped analysts’ expectations by 5.8%. Aside from that, it was a mixed quarter as it logged a significant miss of analysts’ EBITDA estimates.

Ruger scored the fastest revenue growth among its peers. The stock is up 10.6% since reporting and currently trades at $39.23.

American Outdoor Brands (NASDAQ: AOUT)

Spun off from Smith and Wesson in 2020, American Outdoor Brands (NASDAQ: AOUT) is an outdoor and recreational products company that offers outdoor and shooting sports products but does not sell firearms themselves.

American Outdoor Brands reported revenues of $58.51 million, up 9.5% year on year. This print beat analysts’ expectations by 4%. It was a very strong quarter as it also put up a solid beat of analysts’ EPS estimates and an impressive beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates.

The stock is down 16.8% since reporting and currently trades at $12.51.
