Domo (DOMO) Q2 Earnings: What To Expect

Business intelligence platform Domo (NASDAQ: DOMO) will be reporting results this Thursday after the bell. Here’s what to expect.

Domo beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 3.1% last quarter, reporting revenues of $80.11 million, flat year on year. It was a very strong quarter for the company, with EPS guidance for next quarter exceeding analysts’ expectations and an impressive beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Domo’s revenue to be flat year on year at $78.09 million, improving from the 1.6% decrease it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted loss is expected to come in at -$0.05 per share.

The majority of analysts covering the company have reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. Domo has only missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates once over the last two years, exceeding top-line expectations by 1.5% on average.

Looking at Domo’s peers in the data analytics segment, some have already reported their Q2 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. Palantir Technologies delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 48%, beating analysts’ expectations by 6.8%, and Amplitude reported revenues up 13.6%, topping estimates by 2.4%. Palantir Technologies traded up 7.8% following the results while Amplitude was also up 3.1%.

Debates over possible tariffs and corporate tax adjustments have raised questions about economic stability in 2025. While some of the data analytics stocks have shown solid performance in this choppy environment, the group has generally underperformed, with share prices down 5.1% on average over the last month. Domo is up 2.3% during the same time and is heading into earnings with an average analyst price target of $14.50 (compared to the current share price of $16.43).
