Volunteer Ministers Deliver Help During National Night Out Against Crime

By: Zexprwire

Nashville, Tennessee, 8th August 2025, ZEX PR WIRE, On Tuesday, the Edgehill community came together in unity and purpose for National Night Out Against Crime, an annual event promoting neighborhood camaraderie and strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the community. Held on August 5th, the event was attended by dozens of residents, families, and officers from the Midtown Hills Precinct—alongside a unique presence: the Volunteer Ministers, who were on hand delivering help to those in need.

Wearing their signature yellow shirts, the Volunteer Ministers provided Assists—simple yet powerful techniques developed by humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, that help bring relief from stress, injury, or trauma. Community members who received an Assist reported feeling calmer, lighter, and more energized afterward.

“We’re here to support the community in practical ways,” said one Volunteer Minister. “Whether it’s offering physical relief, emotional support, or simply lending a hand, our goal is to help.”

National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that fosters partnerships between neighbors and law enforcement to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live. The Edgehill event featured food, music, family-friendly activities, and valuable resources from local organizations.

The Volunteer Ministers, a program of the Church of Scientology, are a global force for good in times of disaster and in everyday life. Their participation in National Night Out highlighted their ongoing commitment to uplifting and serving the Nashville community.
