Lenovo Earns Perfect Score for Fifth Consecutive Year in 2022 Corporate Equality Index

By: 3BL Media

SOURCE: Lenovo

DESCRIPTION:

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., February 15, 2022 /3BL Media/ – Lenovo recently announced that, for the fifth consecutive year, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation gave the company a perfect score of 100 on the 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). For LGBTQ workplace equality in the United States, the Index is the premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices.

Lenovo is one of a record-breaking 842 businesses to earn a top score of 100 on the CEI, and the distinction as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality”.

Qualification for the index is based upon a company’s adoption of LGBTQ-related policies and practices, including non-discrimination, workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.

“I’m proud of our continued efforts to promote workplace inclusion at Lenovo, for the LGBTQ community and all diversity segments,” commented Calvin Crosslin, Lenovo’s Chief Diversity Officer. “We believe that when people are able to be their authentic selves at work, we will create the safe and collaborative environment that is critical to our ability to innovate.”

Lenovo is focused on growing diverse perspectives in their executive ranks, as demonstrated by their goal to increase executives from underrepresented backgrounds – including LGBTQ – to 35% by FY2025/26 (from 29% in 2020).
