Spotted While Scrolling: Social Impact Highlights in May 2022

DESCRIPTION:

We’re back with another Spotted while Scrolling where we recap some of the amazing social impact stories we spotted recently while scrolling through LinkedIn! We’re proud of you, RW partners and clients, for making a real impact, taking care of your employees, and reaching new levels of success. We hope to see more of you tell your stories so we can help spread the word!

While our team has been conducting impact interviews with PayPal’s amazing non-profit partners around the world, the company overall is setting an impressive example for crisis response, raising over $250 million for organizations supporting Ukraine relief efforts! They’re offering several ways to support the cause including sending money directly to recipients, supporting international charities focused on humanitarian aid and refugee support, donating when you ride with Uber or check out with PayPal, and more. Hats off to PayPal for finding new ways to activate their community and for taking action to support those who need it most. We’ll look for the donation button next time we hop in an Uber.

We’ve all seen the fuel prices rising. It’s making that commute to work a little more life-sucking, right? Well, let’s just say if we weren’t a fully remote company, we’d be applying for a job at Tyson right now. (Kidding – although we really do love the CSR team there!) But listen to this… Tyson is taking a really cool step to making that commute to work less burdensome for their employees. Through their Commute with Enterprise ride-share program, Tyson offers 26 of their facilities a low-cost, reliable way to commute to work. Some of their plants are even taking steps to assist team members with purchasing reliable transportation! A great example of one way to take care of your employees.
