Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa Security Task Force, a leading security services provider in the greater Tulsa metro area, announces with profound sadness the passing of one of its most distinguished K-9 officers, "Mamba," who died after a valiant fight against cancer. Mamba passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024, surrounded by her handler and family members who cherished her dearly.

Mamba, a Black Labrador who had been a part of the Tulsa Security Task Force team since 2017, was known for her bravery, intelligence, and unwavering dedication to assigned security services tasks. Throughout her service, Mamba played a crucial role in numerous security operations, including patrols, safety demonstrations, and special events throughout Tulsa. Her abilities not only made her a beloved figure in the community but also a true hero among her peers.

James Dodson, Mamba's handler, said, "Mamba was more than just a service dog; she was a loyal friend, a protector, and a cherished member of our family. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts, but her legacy of bravery and service will forever be remembered."
