KARBNZ Global and Energia Compartilhada Join Forces to Power a Greener Future

Sao Paulo, Brazil - October 1, 2025 - KARBNZ Global Limited, a leading natural-capital platform dedicated to large-scale forest restoration and carbon solutions, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Energia Compartilhada do Brasil (ECB) to launch a transformative joint venture that will turn Brazil’s natural resources into clean, renewable energy.

At the heart of this partnership is KARBNZ Global’s vast forest portfolio of sustainably managed land across Brazil. These lands, that are carefully being restored and stewarded to regenerate biodiversity and capture carbon, will supply a steady flow of responsibly sourced biomass, demonstrating how reforestation and preservation can power renewable energy while protecting nature.

The agreement outlines plans to build up to 10 state-of-the-art biomass processing and pellet production facilities, backed by as much as US $150 million in investment from ECB. These factories will convert KARBNZ Global’s renewable biomass into certified pellets for international clean-energy markets.

“Our forests represent one of the largest and most powerful climate solutions on the planet,” said Pascal van Knijff, CEO of KARBNZ Global. “By pairing our natural capital with ECB’s renewable-energy expertise, we’re creating pathways that restore ecosystems, reduce emissions, and accelerate the global energy transition.”

This collaboration positions Brazil as a leader in the global clean-energy transition, demonstrating how natural capital can drive economic growth, decarbonize energy systems, and safeguard forests for future generations.
