Today, Dr. Kounavis serves as a software engineer at Meta in New York, where he focuses on machine learning and predictive analytics, a key branch of artificial intelligence. His work explores how advanced algorithms can make better recommendations. Such systems drive the revenue engines of major global platforms. He views AI as a powerful tool to amplify human creativity, enabling knowledge workers to automate repetitive tasks and devote more time to original ideas.
