Marquis Who's Who Honors Jennifer Hanna Ammons for Hospitality and Recreation Expertise

UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / September 30, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors Jennifer Hanna Ammons for her expertise in the hospitality and recreation industry. As the owner and operator of the Back Nine Golf in Spartanburg, South Carolina, since 2024, Ms. Ammons has excelled in her role and ensures the business's success. Though she has faced challenges along the way, her dedication to all visitors has built a close-knit community at the Back Nine Golf.

Ms. Ammons currently works in the hospitality and recreation industry, but a significant portion of her career has been spent in the health care space. Her family's legacy in the medical field and her own personal experiences inspired her to pursue a career in health care. After studying early childhood education and realizing the field was not for her, she earned a medical assistant degree and joined her father's practice. Eventually, she entered the role of manager and would leverage her medical expertise for the next 15 years.

Though Ms. Ammons excelled at her father's practice, she was soon faced with personal health challenges, leading her to step away from her work. During this period of her life, she took more time to focus on her family. When her husband was similarly injured after 12 years at BMW, the pair took the time to travel and go on vacations with their children.

Inspired to Become a Part of a Franchise

While at the beach at Hilton Head for one such vacation, Ms. Ammons' children and her husband visited a golf simulator. Enjoying the experience, they suggested that the family should get one for their house. Though Ms. Ammons demurred at first, she began discussing the matter with her husband. By the end of June 2024, she was researching franchises and in July, she was talking with representatives. She signed with a franchise in September of that year.

A Rapid Rise to Success

Today, despite only being open for a year and a half, Ms. Ammons has built her location to become number eight among all of the Back Nine Golf franchise locations. As such, her business is already considered a legacy franchise. Now, the entire town of Spartanburg has something they couldn't previously experience and her family can enjoy the facility as well.

While she operates the Back Nine Golf franchise in Spartanburg, Ms. Ammons is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, managing booking and tee times, ensuring that the simulator bays and putting green are operational and providing customer support. Ever-dedicated to creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for all visitors, Ms. Ammons' franchise makes customers feel like a part of the wider community.

Ambition for the Future

Moving forward, Ms. Ammons's goal is to reach a point where she can expand and form partnerships of her own with other franchise owners. This way, she hopes to be able to open additional locations and grow the Back Nine Golf brand into her area of the country. At the same time, she looks forward to her children's careers as her eldest pursues a degree in entrepreneurship and her 19-year-old son works toward a career in veterinary medicine.
