Sinclair Broadcast Group Names Todd Bernstein Station Manager of WJLA in Washington, DC

Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) today announced Todd Bernstein has been named Station Manager of WJLA-ABC7 and WJLA-24/7 in Washington, DC.

Bernstein, who is currently the station’s Director of Sales, will continue reporting to Senior Vice President and General Manager, William Fanshawe.

“As Director of Sales, Todd has done an outstanding job leading the department. With over twenty-five years of broadcast, digital sales and sales management experience, he is the ideal candidate for the Station Manager position. In his elevated role, Todd will continue to oversee the sales department as well as have oversight of Government Matters and Good Morning Washington,” said Fanshawe.

Bernstein joined WJLA in 2005 and has held several management positions at the station, including Sales Manager, Director of Business Development, National Sales Manager and Local/Political Sales Manager.

He began his media career as an Account Executive at Harrington, Righter & Parsons, where he was responsible for the oversight of advertising for Sinclair-owned stations. Bernstein holds a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and a Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse’s S.I. Newhouse School of Communications.
