2022 Insurance Industry Succession Planning Study Now Open for Participation

The 2022 Insurance Industry Succession Planning Study, conducted by The Jacobson Group, the leading provider of talent to the insurance industry, is now open through October 2, 2022. The study aims to measure the industry’s succession readiness and provide valuable benchmarking insights.

"As insurers navigate a shifting economic climate and continued movement across all organizational levels, succession planning is becoming even more crucial for long-term success,” said Gregory P. Jacobson, co-chief executive officer of The Jacobson Group. “The results of this study will arm insurance leaders with valuable market intelligence, influencing their ability to remain competitive and approach succession through a proactive and comprehensive lens.”

The study explores current aspects of carriers' succession planning at the CEO level, as well as their approach to other vital roles, including frequency of review, decision-making authority and written plan components. The results will provide a baseline as leaders evaluate and refine their own plans and position their organizations for future success.

Insurance carriers across all sectors of the industry are invited to complete the survey. Participation is confidential, and all respondents will receive a complimentary summary of the study’s results. To complete the survey, follow this link: https://jcbsn.gr/22-successionstudy.
