Guest speakers; candlelight moment of silence to honor overdose victims; facility tours; education on medication-assisted treatment

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, a leader in providing accessible, affordable treatment for individuals struggling with substance use disorders, will host a Grand Opening open house at Winchester Treatment Services on Wednesday, September 13th with local officials, community leaders, area healthcare providers and more!

The celebration will be led by Tiffany Freels-Louthen, Executive Director, Georgetown Medical, and feature remarks by:

As part of the program, attendees will participate in a candlelight moment of silence to commemorate lives lost to overdose and the disease of addiction, take tours of our brand-new addiction treatment facility, meet the dedicated, passionate staff, learn about available programs and services, and enjoy lunch and refreshments while networking with community members.

One of Pinnacle’s 8 opioid treatment programs (OTP) in the state, Winchester Treatment Services provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), particularly methadone and suboxone, coupled with various methods of counseling and behavioral therapies at the facility. MAT is the gold standard of care for opioid addiction.

The FDA-approved medicines work to curb withdrawal symptoms from heroin and pain pill addiction, prevent relapse, and help ease the physical discomfort that accompanies opioid recovery.

Individual and group therapy are provided as part of a holistic approach to patient care. Areas of focus include relapse prevention, grief & loss therapy, life skills counseling, and trauma-informed care. Gender-specific groups are available as well as specialized programming for pregnant women and new parents.
