In this role, Lempel will apply more than 25 years of proven, cross-discipline technology expertise to extend Cognyte’s innovation leadership and bring unparalleled vision and value to Cognyte’s customers.

Among his previous leadership roles, Lempel led research and technology initiatives at Google Ads, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, Outbrain and Yahoo, developing vast and varied expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), search engines, recommendation systems and ad tech. Lempel’s distinguished expertise in these fields combined with his military experience in an intelligence unit come together to drive AI innovation and bring added value for customers.

Lempel’s appointment as CTO reflects Cognyte’s commitment to continued technology foresight, future-proofing its product portfolio to deliver long-term innovative solutions that customers in law enforcement, national security, national intelligence and military intelligence agencies rely on to successfully safeguard their societies, assets and interests.
