Piper Sandler Strengthens Financial Services Group with the Addition of Eric Ferdinand

Piper Sandler Companies (NYSE: PIPR), a leading investment bank, is pleased to announce the hiring of Eric Ferdinand as a managing director in the financial services investment banking group.

Ferdinand brings nearly two decades of investment banking and strategic advisory experience across banks, specialty finance, and fintech companies. He most recently held a senior role at Bayview Asset Management, focusing on credit investment opportunities and portfolio strategies. Prior to that, Eric spent more than a decade as a managing director at UBS Investment Bank and Sandler O’Neill & Partners. At UBS, he led sector coverage and advised C-suite executives and boards of directors on a wide range of corporate finance and strategic matters. At Sandler, he executed mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, restructurings, and shareholder activism defense assignments for financial institutions nationwide. Ferdinand received a bachelor’s degree and Master of Accounting Science from Northern Illinois University and earned his Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.
