New name reflects the company's growing capabilities across mission-critical power, control and electromechanical solutions

First Source Electronics today announced its new name, First Source Power (FSP), reflecting the company's continued growth as an engineering-led manufacturer serving mission-critical customers.

FSP serves customers across data centers, space and defense, warehouse automation, industrial, pharma and healthcare, and emerging technologies including quantum computing. Across these markets, engineering execution, reliability and the ability to scale are critical.

FSP brings together three complementary areas of expertise: power, controls and electromechanical systems. Its capabilities span power distribution and switchgear, industrial controls and automation, critical cable and wire harness assemblies, and complex electromechanical systems, supported by in-house electrical and mechanical engineering and advanced manufacturing.

As demand for mission-critical power infrastructure grows, FSP is expanding its capabilities and capacity across power distribution while continuing to invest in the controls and electromechanical systems that are integral to the company.

“First Source Power better represents the company we are building and the customers we serve,” said Vijay Mony, Chairman of First Source Power. “We are solving increasingly complex engineering problems for some of the world’s most demanding industries, and I am incredibly proud that we build these products in America.”

The First Source Power name reflects the company’s broader mission: solving the power, control and electromechanical engineering challenges behind the infrastructure powering the next generation of industry and technology.
