Kenwood Management Completes 3-Year Lease Renewal with The State of Maryland in Baltimore, MD

By: Get News

Kenwood B&O LLC, an affiliate of Kenwood Management Company, announced today that it had completed a 3-year lease renewal with the State of Maryland at its historic B&O Building in Baltimore. The State initially moved into the building in 2014 and utilizes the space for its Department of Housing and Community Development.

The State was represented by Nick Loiselle from CBRE and Kenwood was represented by Brian Wyatt from Cushman and Wakefield.

Earlier this year, Kenwood also renewed its lease with Franklin and Prokopik in the same building for 38,489 sf. Heartland Dental is also a tenant in the property.

Tom Driscoll, Kenwood’s Asset Manager, said, “We are extremely pleased to be continuing this long-standing relationship with the State. The B&O Building’s historic character – including Tiffany stained glass windows and marble staircases - together with its proximity to amenities, make it an ideal fit for the State.”

Kenwood has also engaged Joe Friedman from KLNB to market the property for sale. Interested parties should contact Joe at jfriedman@klnb.com

Bill Singer, Principal from Kenwood, added, “In renewing the State and Franklin and Prokopik, these tenants have clearly demonstrated the need to be in downtown Baltimore. These lease renewals provide a buyer with a stable cash flow for many years to come as downtown rebuilds its inner harbor to the jewel it should be.”
