Patricia Kyle Mendoza at ARTfair Innsbruck 2025Represented by MONAT Gallery Innsbruck, Austria – October 2025. Cebuana, now based in Donostia–San Sebastián, Patricia Kyle Mendoza brings humor, intensity, and emotional precision (or lack thereof) to ARTfair Innsbruck 2025. Exhibiting with Madrid’s MONAT Gallery from 24–26 October 2025 at Olympiaworld Innsbruck. Her works, Mixed Feelings: From Mojito Mayhem and To Rum Rampage, spout stories of self-control, indulgence, and the morning after-–paintings that slip between abstraction and confession. Mendoza’s acrylic practice balances fluidity with distracted destruction, turning instability into color that breathes while holding a monologue. Her paintings shimmer with layered transparency—sunlight through leftover rain and regretful laughter. Each work exists without need for resolution or explanation. “Mostly,” she writes, “they (the paintings) are simply trying to swim through human colors and tensions.” Mendoza re-emerged in 2025 with Hangry & Winemedicated (The Wine Club, Makati), a solo show after years in design, education, creative leadership–and a bit of construction. This latest series extends that inquiry into burnout—exploring how adhd, migration, and identity blend into the soup of life. Mendoza’s tone remains candid, humor intact; brushwork, a negotiation between control and collapse. ARTfair Innsbruck, now in its 29th edition, is Austria’s leading international platform for modern and contemporary art. Taking place at Olympiaworld from 24–26 October (preview 23 October, 17:30), the fair features over 90 galleries from across Europe and beyond. Born in Cebu City, Philippines, Mendoza studied under Raymund and Estela Ocampo Fernandez at the University of the Philippines Studio Arts Department and refined her design sensibilities at Kenneth Cobonpue’s studio. Her cross-disciplinary experience—spanning illustration, construction, cultural management, and writing—shapes her visual language. She is a British Council Creative Innovators Fellow and a key contributor to Cebu’s UNESCO Creative City of Design initiatives. Mendoza’s work is introspective documentation, capturing not grand conclusions but the quiet persistence of being. “Art,” she notes, “is proof that you tried everything else.” Event InformationARTfair Innsbruck 2025 | Olympiaworld Innsbruck, Austria October 24–26, 2025 | Daily 11:00–19:00 | Preview: October 23, 17:30 Represented by MONAT Gallery, Madrid ImagesPress ContactPatricia Kyle Mendoza Instagram: @patropia patriciakylemendoza@gmail.com More NewsView More
